Mendo Ayotunde Hunsu aka Mendo Ayo is a gospel, inspirational musician/artiste, and song writer, who was born into a music-loving family in Lagos, Nigeria.

Mendo Ayo was able to give expression to his musical gift when he joined Christ Chapel International Churches (CCIC) at an early age and majoring at onset on drums. He started his musical career professionally in 2013 and was one of the contestants for the song writing competition for Christ Chapel International Churches (CCIC) 32nd anniversary. He was in the Top Five.

He first tried his hands at recording in started recording in 2015, but it was not until 2021 that he had his debut with a song, O TI RI JESU (You’ve Seen Jesus), featuring the legendary Mike Abdul of Midnight Crew. The was followed on the 27th of January 2022 with WATIMAGBO and in June, WATIMAGBO Reloaded, which this time featured A’DAM in addition to mentor, Mike Abdul.

On the 10th of July, which was his birthday, he had his first ever major concert tagged ARE YOU REGISTERED? Highlight of the event was the launch 7-track Exclusive album. Mike Abdul led a host of celebrity artistes, including Monique and many others, to participate and celebrate with him.

The album, now available on all digital platforms officially dropped on the 7th of October 2022 features the following tracks: O Ti Ri Jesu, Watimagbo, Watimagbo Reloaded, Groove 3:16, Father, Faith and I Give You Praise
