What is today known as the Patmos Bible School of Faith began in 1985 when Rev Dr Tunde Joda organised an eight-week programme to train and teach the people of God in a small group tagged, Patmos School of Ministry. It took on its current identity when it officially transformed into a full fledge School in 1993.
This started initially as a training school for leaders, and those who had the call of God to serve in any specific Office/Department of the Christ Chapel. Today, the school runs a one-year diploma course for interested students from any part of Christendom, with the Spirit-led objective of building a Faith-filled, Word-based army of believers in Christ.
This is either one year Full time morning (FTD) or Full time evening (FTE) Diploma programmes for qualified candidates with basic entry requirements. The Full time morning programme runs from Monday through Friday 9:00am – 2:00pm, while the Full time evening programme runs 4days a week, 5:30pm – 9:00pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Since inception, PBSF founder and perennial teacher, with his penchant for excellence did not run the vision all alone. Instead, he assembles a team of anointed Men of God to join in running the vision. Among the earliest was pioneer principal, Rev. Lindsay Mann, a Briton.
Since 1993, the School has successfully graduated over a thousand and five hundred great men and women, who are serving in God’s vineyard in different areas of leadership; as Pastor, Deacons and Deaconesses, Evangelist, Teacher etc.
As the name of the School implies, Patmos (an Island where Apostle John was banished, where he received revelation of the end time event) is a school where student receives definite impartation of the Spirit of God, where the veil of uncertainty of who they are in Christ is removed, where visions are realigned and destinies are renewed to fulfill the callings of God in Christ Jesus. It is a place of encounter, where you would learn at first hand that the kingdom of God is not only in words but also in demonstration of the spirit power, where you will be made to know your spiritual rights and privileges in Christ Jesus and walk in total victory.
PBSF is marching on, energised by the truth that though there are many sources of knowledge and of information; but there is only one source of divine insight and revelation, and that is through the Holy Spirit. At Patmos Bible School of Faith, we prepare as we impart ordinary people with the very supernatural word of His power until we all come to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. The bible school runs a 9/10 month Diploma program to train and equip faith-filled, word-based army of believers in Christ. The school has over the years, trained men and women fro different background and denomination who are imparting the world in their areas of calling.

Christ Chapel is an offshoot of the Voice Of Faith Ministries was founded in December of 1983 by Rev Dr. and Rev. Chris Tunde and Victoria Ebun Joda with just a handful of believers in a small fellowship on Karimu Street, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria.
